Hi! My Name Is Banjo

I'm Available

Banjo is a very happy boy. He loves human interaction and you can see his eyes light up when people approach. He walks well on a leash and enjoys playing in the yard. He is scared of thunderstorms and loves having a friend nearby until it passes, but he will be brave and make it through if he has to do it alone. He loves treats and Benebones. He is content to do a few laps in the yard and then come inside and check out your latest Netflix binge.

When he first came to us he was a ball of energy. He has now been here almost a year and has calmed down considerably. He still enjoys tug play, as seen in the video. He is smart, will sit on command, and is very motivated for snacks!

Banjo has been waiting like a sweet and very patient boy, but he is getting sad and really wants to go home. He would prefer a home with no dogs or someone that is respectful of the time it takes for him to adjust to a new friend. He does warm up to other dogs, but he may not be their instant best friend. He should not go to a home with cats or small animals. If you're interested in Banjo please fill out his adoption application at
